From the date RAMIN
AVIATION was founded and till now the company keeps doing its job by executing and implementing different ATM projects. The list below comprises some of the Company's projects.
A. Recent Work:
1. The
Civil Aviation State Establishment:
a.
Three systems have been installed at Hashmiya,
Shatra, Baserah and are all operational.
b. The
forth has been installed at Alqosh in 20 may 2008
and has become operational.
c. The
civil works at Samarra and Hawiga are under
construction for installation of the next two VORs.
d.
Preparations are taking place to install other two
stations in Kut and Najaf.
2.
Sulaimaniya International
airport:
a.
Maintenance of the previously
installed equipment by the AGS company with
calibration and has been set operational.
b.
Installation of a new ILS
system including the civil and electrical works.
This systems included the equipment:
i.
LLZ 422 complete.
ii.
GP 421.
iii.
DME 415.
iv.
RCSU 433.
3.
Erbil International
airport:
a.
Supply and installation of a
new DME 435 – power 1000W in conjunction with the
existing DVOR.
b.
Maintenance operating of
other old equipment and returning them operational.
4.
Basra International
airport:
a.
Installation of ILS system
(American MK20A) in cooperation with the American
Thales.
b.
Installation of a new CVOR
and DME.
B. Agreements 2005: A Memorandum of Agreement has been signed between Ramin Aviation and ASI, whereas, ASI is working to certify Ramin Aviation to install, and to be trained and certified for on-going maintenance of ground based electronic navigational equipment for Iraq. ASI and Ramin Aviation Co. will work together to identify potential business opportunities relating to infrastructure and communications systems in Iraq.
C. Signed Contracts
2005: A contract signed between Ramin Aviation
Company and THALES Company regarding supply,
installation, setting up , commissioning and ground
test of 9 CVOR navigation systems for the benefit of
the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority. Installation
will be performed along the civil aviation en-route
paths throughout Iraq.
Hereafter, are stated the places and dates of
installation, setup and commissioning of the
equipment.
D. Studies and surveys 2005: A comprehensive thorough study to develop Sulaymaniya Airport and the assessment of its main elements in providing the highest level of safety for the aircrafts and the passenger streamlines and comfort ability were encompassed.
E. Airport Constructions Participating in engineering planning, supervising and carrying on several constructional tasks in the following airports – both civil and military: oMUTHANA AP oBASRAH IAP oMOUSOL AP oQadisiya Air Base oBALAD Air Base
F. NavAids installations 2001: Install a new (VOR+DME) station in MANDELY. 2000: Install a new (VOR+DME) station in HADITHA and BASRAH IAP. 2000: Transfer 2 sets of ILS from (BIAP) to BASRAH IAP runway 1996: Transfer (VOR + DME) station at SAMARA. 1994: Transfer a (DVOR + DME) station from the side 33R to 15R of BIAP. 1990: Install (VOR + DME) station in ABUGRAYB (AD) near BIAP. 1987: Transfer of three VOR + DME station which was SHARGAT (SH), HADIHA (HD), SAMARA (SM) to HAWIJA , ZUBAYDIA, SAMARA.
G. Radar installations 2003: Installation of ATCR-33 system at AL-RASHEED Air Base / BAGHDAD. 1994: Installation of ATCR-33 system at SIWAYRA Air Base / BAGHDAD 1989: Installation of ATCR-33 system at MOUSOL Air Base / Mosul Governorate. 1989: Installation of ATCR-33 system at BIAP. 1988: Installation of ATCR-33 system at SAAD Air Base / AL-ANBAR

G. AFL installations •Installation of 13 fixed AFL systems (ADB type – Belgium and Philips – Netherlands) all over Iraqi Airbases and Airports. •Installation of 20 portable AFL systems in Iraqi Airbases as temporary installations to promote rapid setup and operation for military operational purposes. •Installation of 5 heliport lightings.
H. Other installations Installations and commissioning of a variety of equipments throughout Iraqi airports, e.g., •Many HF, VHF and UHF communication equipment (Transmitter and Receiver stations with all their details and compact transceivers). •Many ATIS, VOLMET equipment and intercoms. •Performing Integration of all NAVAIDs, radios, RVR signals and other ATC and airfield systems at MUTHANA AP. ATC tower / BAGHDAD at 1992 to support full capacity airfield operations in the pertinent airport •Fifteen Precision Approach Radars – PAR. •Eighteen Directional Finders – DF equipment – Fixed and portable versions. •Four VSAT Systems; one main station in Baghdad and three remote stations at Western, Southern and Northern sectors of Iraq
